The room at La Bastiglia was absolutely amazing! It had a private terrace with stunning views of the valley, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. The bed was so comfortable that I had the best night's sleep in ages. The room had everything we needed, including free WiFi and a laptop-friendly workspace.- The suite we stayed in had a fabulous bathroom with a hydromassage bathtub. And can we talk about the jacuzzi on the private terrace? It was pure bliss!

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the air conditioning in the room. It was a bit too chilly for my liking.

Location is excellent in town of Spello in Italian Countryside. It is a small hilltop town and very interesting. The main reason for our visit was to have dinner at the Michelin Restaurant that evening but when we arrived we were told that the restaurant was closed that night and we only have the option of the Bistro which was still OK. If you specifically want to dine at the restaurant check that it will be open during your stay.

An excellent location with comfortable bedroom. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The swimming pool needed a clean, and the outside areas could benefit from some attention, eg broken sunbeds etc. The view from our room was not quite as described - we looked out onto a plain brick terrace.

The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and moved us to a beautiful junior suite when the air conditioning in our room wasn't working. The views from the hotel were absolutely stunning, and the pool, although not large, was still enjoyable. The hotel's restaurant offered a culinary journey with intense flavors and expertly prepared dishes. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Great views and quiet location. The surrounding area is beautiful and perfect for a romantic escape. The staff was friendly and helpful. , the breakfast was decent.

The room was dirty and outdated. Walls were thin, and we could hear everything from the neighboring room, which made it difficult to sleep at night.

As a resident guest extremely surprized to be denied dinner. Also wanted early breakfast at 7.30 am but was denied entry until later because of Japanese group taking the place over. Given no help in finding dinner although it proved easy. Flush on toilet/cistern faulty.

When visiting Umbria during the last 7/8 years we have made a point of staying at La Bastiglia for at least one night during our holiday because of the superb food. This year we were bitterly disappointed with our dining experience - the food was unexceptional and service disappointing.

The hotel is located in a picturesque and peaceful area surrounded by green hills, with easy access to many excellent restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring modern and well-equipped bathrooms. The staff provides excellent service and the breakfast is of good quality, with fresh and varied options each morning. Some rooms offer breathtaking views of the valley and the surrounding hills, adding to the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel.

The hotel entrance might be a bit difficult to access for cars with low suspensions, so drivers need to be careful when approaching the area.

Clean, friendly, convient location. Excellent staff. Good breakfast on a lovely patio overlooking a pristine valley and mountain. Walk out the door and into town. We noticed a lot of business people and day-hikers were staying here. It was an interesting mix. Very easy drive to Assisi. We would gladly stay here again.

Personally, I found the hydromassage feature in the bathroom a bit unnecessary. It's just my opinion though, someone else might enjoy it.

The accommodation was spacious and clean, with great air conditioning. We especially appreciated the secure underground parking. The restaurant had a wonderful setting, overlooking the countryside, and the staff were friendly and helpful. a great experience!
